I am planning on removing the hard top off. What are you guys doing to clean and lubricate the weatherstripping so when you put it back there will be no water leaks.

Silicone Spray inside and out. Silicone for rubber always. Petroleums eat rubber so I don't reccomend armour all or similar. 303 is probably ok but a waste on rubber in my opinion. Silicone all the way. And yes I have done this on all my vehicles at least twice a year...that goes for my rubber bushings as well.

Same here. When the hard top goes on I spray the weather stripping with silicone spray, and the wipe it clean. I do the same to the soft top when it goes on.

Thanks for the info. Will any disc pad silicone lubricant work or the Napa one is a special formula. I have the Raybestos disc brake pad silicone tube.

I have used a product containing DuPont Krytox which is an inert high and low temp lubricant for rubber. It contains no petroleum GM recommends this for Corvette weatherstrip on T Tops and Hatch seals. From GM it is very very expensive. However it is also used in Leslies Pool supplies as an "O" ring lubricant called "Pool and Spa Lube" at a much lower price . I have used it for years on all my weatherstrip applications.
IT WORKS!
