anyone figured out how to stop that annoying ding in this situation? Wrong solutions:

1. close the door
2. unplug the door

anyone got a real solution? Anyone found where the ding comes from and removed/disconnected the speaker?

 

I think it is a solid state dinger so I wouldn't mess with the circuitry.

I read somewhere someone pushed the latch with a screwdriver to get it into closed position. Just got to remember to pull the door handle before trying to really close the door.

Haven't tried it myself.
