Default took off doors, now power locks won't lock

weather was finally dry this weekend so, I went ahead and took the doors off for the first time. I've never had them off before and man is it a great feeling! anyways, so I went to reinstall the doors and everything was latched and hooked up correctly and going as planned. although if I'm in the jk and all doors are shut and go to lock the doors while being inside, only the rear two doors lock. That's if I'm inside, if I'm outside and lock the jk for the night, everything locks fine. I have an 08 4dr sahara with power locks/windows. Just thought this was a strange problem and wondering if anyone had a fix. Thanks for input!

Don't the power locks auto lock at speeds past 15mph anyway? That is a strange thing that happened though. Are you sure the connections are fully plugged up and the red Tab is in the locked position?

If your connections are all good it could be just a random electrical gremlin; try disconnecting the battery for 30 mins for the CANBUS/PCM system to re-boot & see if that solves the issue.

Mine does the same thing. I have an 08 4 door. I have had the doors off many times with no problems until now. The front passenger door lock doesnt work any more. I double checked the connections and it looks ok.

take a good look into both sides of the connector blocks to see if something bent or came loose. Especially the half that is under the dash. You might have wrestled one of the wires loose when you disconnected.

Is it just the power lock button on the inside of the driver door?
What about the button on the other door(s)?

Inside of the driver and passenger side. The other doors lock perfectly fine. I'll go take a look at the wires to see if anything got messed up.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, if you go like over 15 they will lock on itself but only the rear two doors will lock when that happens.

Check the wiring. And check the fuse. Does the door lock with the FOB? Does it lock with the door mounted switch?

Disconnected everything and plugged back it. The door mounted switch will lock the rear doors, but not the front. Strange problem, haven't seen it come up anywhere.

This applies to both doors, right?

What happens if you use the key FOB?
