Kids need air in the back!
Anyone else noticed that there are no air vents in the back of the four door? I know it's a Jeep but weren't the four doors made with the family somewhat in mind? With these 90+ degree days the kids are getting little to no air back in their car seats. I love taking them wheeling with me but by the halfway point, they've been through 4 sippy cups of water and their cheeks are flush. Have they done something about this since the 2010 model?
No vents in my 2011 Rubi Unlimited. I have to move the two inner vents to allow air to move to the rear area. The heat that builds up due to a non insulated top does not help any. Contrary to popular belief, there are many of us who do not remove the top as soon as sun begins to shine on a normal basis. It is just another poor design issue which in my opinon Jeep is famous for.
It would have been a simple addition to the back of the middle console above the power window switches. I'll have to look at COP's site and see what the cost is. It seems like I'm doing more mods lately for the kids than I am to boost performance of the Jeep itself. Muffler is too loud, kids need air conditioning... Priorities first I guess.

Get some 2" plastic flex tubing. run it from the outer vents, up the b pillar, across the bar and to the back. yeah, you have 2" duct in your periphials (sp?) but at least the kids will have air. and since it is up high (at the sound bar) it will cool them quicker then being on the floor (cold air sinks)
