I've got the Spiderweb Shade. Best thing that I've purchased after my winch!

maybe you meant to buy a cherokee?
98 degrees in Alabama is like 120 anywhere else. Thanks for the advice but I'd rather my kids burry me rather then the other way around.

Why do people like you feel the need to make these types of comments? I know what I bought and am looking to improve it to fit my needs. if I wanted a Cherokee I'd be shit outta luck these days wouldn't I?

Default no longer kids in the back, now it is the dogs

and I have the same concern. I bought a couple of fans from JC Whitney for my motorhome, only installed one in the RV, was thinking of mounting one on the sport bar in the back to provide some air flow for the dogs.
They came with a cig lighter plug, but was going to wire it with a quick disconnect, they come with a mounting bracket so you could remove when not needed.

My buddy did this in his TJ for his son. Might go that route.

I insulated my top for a little over $100 because it's been hot as hell here this summer and the a/c was working overtime to keep up. After doing it I was amazed how much of a difference it made.

There are pics of the finished product in my profile.

No there's not. You have to make your albums public or something.

I'm looking to make an insulation blanket to go under my soft top.

This is one of the reasons I like the remote start option on my Jeep. I usually crank her up and let it run for about 5 or 10 minutes before we get inside and it is slightly cooled down. By the time we are on or off the road it is comfortable for everyone. When pre starting is not an option I have to direct the middle vents towards the back and it usualy does the job after several minutes.

You could always try to wire up some computer fans to the back to better circulate what AC you have. It would be a much less costly first attempt than trying to run tubing.

I would think you could make something super temporary with some flexible ducting that you attach to the outer vents up front, run up the pillars and to the back with velcro. Take it on and off as needed, stash it under the seat when not needed, it's not going to be 100%, but it will get some air moving back there
