I bought a new 2012 Rubi unlimited last week and the average MPG, etc. was displaying in MPH. I woke up to go for a drive this morning and it is now in KPH. My temperature gauge is now reading in Celcius as well when it was reading in Farenhiet before...I don't have the EVIC system so I am unsure as to how I am supposed to change it back...anyone have any ideas?

 

When the panel is on temp, press reset on the left hand side of the steering wheel. Pressing step will allow you to flip through avg economy, miles till empty, and trip time.

 

I tried that and for some reason it is not working...I'm thinking about taking it to the dealership and letting them figure it out.

 

When your on the outside air temp push and hold the button till it swaps over from celisious to farenheight. Once it swaps over everything will swap.

It will take a few seconds for it to convert over just hold the button in till I does.

 

X2; you need to hold it down for 2 or 3 seconds until the display blanks out momentarily and then returns displaying the temp in F, then the avg economy and DTE reads should be in MPG/miles when you flick through them. If this still doesn't work then yeah, might be dealer time (or you could just try unplugging the battery for 15 min or so to reset the PCM)

 

I know this works, my wife keeps changing mine to pretend she is in OZ (lived there when she was little) and I have to change it back all the time
