Leaing front Diff
I bought it from a ford dealer that had just taken it in on trade. The dealer I took it to was supposed to be the better of the 2 in my area to work with. . . .I guess that's not quite right now is it!
I'll have someone's head on a pike by the time I'm done. Crap like this does nothing but piss me off! The crazy thing is that this is under warranty, so what did they get paid to do from chrysler?

We use to do it all the time to old bronco's and CJ's with no problems.
I would NOT take it back to those tards though or you'll end up worse off. Take it to a good welding shop or fabricator and they can prob do it right for less than $100.00 ( ask to see some of thier work )
Just wondering....did you buy this new from the dealer or did you buy it from a PO. that sleeve thing maybe a prior attempted fix. In that case you may want to look for an upgrade....RockJock ????

Well,
thought I would post an update. The dealer is finally going to fix it properly and replace the housing and axle covers (don't know if that's the right terminology or not) The long and short is they are going to fix it correctly and not smear epoxy on it. They still claim that chrysler directed them to do the epoxy "Fix". The tech that did the epoxy repair did throw a fit that the dealership was just going to replace it. . . not sure what that was about other then he will have to do a more complicated repair now. Either way once this is done I will be going 40 minutes to a different jeep dealer that get's really good reviews around here. Just waiting for parts to come in now. . . . .oh well, at least it should be fixed right when I get done with it. (fingers crossed)
