Default Leak in between transmission and transfer case

It seems I'm leaking AT4 right at the junction of the transfer case and the trans. Before I start tearing the transfer case out to inspect, rather be able to fix. Anyone have this problem, and what gaskets/o-rings, etc. should I pick up before I tear apart? Out of warranty :(..

No gasket but there is a seal that sits around the shaft , that is more likly where your leak is

Not hard to fix but you will have to drop the transfer case down after that easy

I bought the rig with 13k, original owner only had 3yr/30, now I have 60k. Almost sounds like I need to pull the trnsfr case and inspect. Anyone know if I need to drain T-case fluid to remove? Any writeups on pullin T-case? Just thought I would use others learning curves to ease my pain.

I had a similar problem. It was not clear whether the TC or trans was leaking. Dealership cleaned it up and put some dye to the TC and put some miles on the Jeep. The dye indicated it was the TC and not the trans leaking. You may want to do a dye test before you start taking things apart

You don't have to drain the Trans case to pull it out , but you will need to pull the driveshafts
