Default Leaking Steering Box

My steering box is leaking on 2009 Jeep Wrangler X. I have been told by a mechanic that you can put a seal kit in these but it is only a temporary fix and it will start leaking again. Can anyone give me some advice on this?

I also found a rebuilt from a Ca. company. He stated that it does not make any difference if it is a 2 door or a 4 door when ordering. One size fits all for a 2009. Other companies are listing a 4 and a 2 door with separate part numbers. The 2 door box is always cheaper. Are they different?

Thanks for your help.

Yes, they'll both fit, but their steering ratios are different. Bear in mind also, that if you have an early model (delphi) '09 box, then it is rebuildable, if it's the latter chinese box, then it can't be rebuilt.
