I have the same leak. Im at 36k miles so out of bumper to bumper and its not covered under powertrain. I brought it to the dealer and they want $250 Im having them hold off. Is this an easy fix yourself?? Ive seen several treads of people with this problem, but no one says what was done....

I have the same problem. I just put some hose clamps on the metal connectors and some silicone around the open edges. Now just gotta wait and see how it holds up.

Has anyone got this fixed under warranty? My powertrain warranty for the transmission says it covers "seals&gaskets" but does not mention hoses, lines,or clamps.

my 2010 leaked out of the same bottom line as well. they replaced it under warrenty with 17 k on the clock. it looks like my new one is starting to leak again now today. lines were 80 something for a pair (only sold that way). labor should be no more than a hour. not a good sign of a quality trans line.

I posted a new thread without seeing this one but my lines have been leaking and I finally brought it in. The manager tells me it is not a warranty repair and it will cost around $290 with labor. I have a 2008 with 55k or so miles on it. Kinda irks me that it is not part of the lifetime warranty thing. I had him go ahead and order the parts but I am also interested in the level of replacement difficulty or even lower tech solution to repair the current lines. Maybe I need to read into the warranty more but I'm sure the "lifetime powertrain" warranty has a all sorts of clauses in it for parts like these.

The stock auto tranny cooler is built into the lower part of the AC condenser (there is a dedicated tranny cooler for those without AC). Doesn't work too well and a lot of people add an auxiliary cooler in series with the stock one.
