Question Lights flashing temporarily

2008 2 door Rubicon, lately when I start the Jeep and start driving, a little red light and the tire pressure light will flash briefly (a few seconds) and then go off. This usually happens about two or three times, and then stops. Wondering what this might mean?

They're right around 35, at least they were before last weekend (I had to get an oil change and they "checked" my tire pressue I'll have to double check). But this problem has been happening for a couple of months, its different from when my tires need air, in those cases the tire pressure light stays lit and I get a number of beeps for the number of tires that are off, and no red light (its a red dot on the right side).

The little red light on the right side just above your temp gauge is the security system checking your chip in your key for validation....it should flash for a second or two at startup...if it starts to stall out on you, either your key is crapping out or the security system is on it way out...found this out the first day i owned my jeep when i put the spare key in it to leave the dealership and it would start and immediately shut off...thought to myself...oh no i bought one with gremlins! After trying to restart it multiple times, i called the owner and he says...oh yeah the spare key is just to unlock the doors and won't work in the ignition! Hope that helps!

Mine also flashes if the alarm has been set off. A few times while working on it I'd hit the key fob lock and then reach in to open the door and the alarm goes off. When I got in later to start it that light blinked many times signaling that the alarm had been set.

Try replacing your battery. After I replaced the battery in my jeep. The lights stopped coming on.

Does it do this at all? Mine had an issue where, while driving, most of the dash lights would come on and I would get the dreaded dinging. Sometimes the lights would go out and the check engine light would come on. As you can see in the picture it was a bit weird to have all these lights on while going 60 down the highway. My tach would also flip out and the speedo would go to zero and back up again.

Turned out the TIPM was bad. Funny thing is I also just had my wifes TIPM changed in her 2011 as well. Weird.

Does anybody know if the replacement tipms is upgraded from the bad ones or will these problems just keep happening every so many years. If they will just recur sounds like I'll be selling mine for a electrically primitive cj.
