So this little line loves to drink muddy water and sand can I cap it off?

What does the other end go to? And you put a filter in it or route it where it can get wet and muddy?

Issue is I don't know where the line goes.. It says brake on it.

It's your brake booster vacuum pump and it's on the driver's side of the framerail- so it isn't close to the air box.


Have you looked into the relocation bracket? I checked online and they're pretty cheap if I remember right and it moves the pump up to under the hood close by the ESP module on the driver's side.

But do u know what that tube is in my hand? Should that be plugged into something?

Nope, I don't know what the line is but I *think* it is supposed to be plugged in. I've got a 10, so I don't have that line. I installed a bumper for a guy with a 13 so I was able to move the pump around a little bit.

Also.....maybe check out some video tutorials of moving the pump to possibly see where it plugs in.

You can relocate the pump with one of these...

It's on the inside of the framerail, driver's side behind the bumper, just under that flat piece of filler......looking down on it from above.
