Default Liquid or Paste wax?

What do you use?

I have only used liquids in the paste and its such a freaking mess.

I have a gallon of liquid wax and I just picked up a quality paste but I am debating opening it for $20 I kind of wanna return it and use the liquid but im not sure which is better.

I've always used paste on previous vehicles, but honestly, with all the black plastic trim on my jeep, I've been too scared to wax it. I know I will end up with white on the fenders. It's a PITA to get it off of plastic, too. You think you got it, and then it dries back white again.

I like Turtle Wax ICE. I have used the liquid and the paste. They are both good products and no white mess on your fenders. There's a thread on here about this. Several other members use it as well.

With a JK, with all of the black, etc. I only use Turtle Wax Ice liquid. You can apply it to everything and it comes out great. I hav a 10 Rubi and use it on the roof, fenders, hood rubber, off road bumpers, wiper arms, everything. Get rid of the traditional paste or liquid waxes that will stain everything that's not a painted surface. You'll make yourself nuts trying to keep it off of everything not painted. On everything else and the interior, use Aerospace 303. I've detailed classic cars for myself for over 30 years and that's all I use on my JK except Invisible Glass, for, the glass. It comes out perfect everytime for not a lot of work.

I use Wolfgang products with liguid Deep Gloss Paint Sealant and then top that periodically with paste Nattys Blue. Like the poster above, I use 303 on plastics (fenders, bumpers, etc) and interiors. Also use Invisible Glass. This comes from experience with past show cars. It's just what works best for me, ymmv.

I use Collinite's 845. That shines like no other. I had a bird crap on my freshly waxed WRX back then and I just blew the poop off my hood. It glides right off. :P And it can be used on plastics too (not recommended though).

Works wonders on wheels too! No more brake dust sticking. I will do my JK soon and will post pictures when done.

Collinite is some good stuff. Have used it in the past and was pleased with the results. Only stopped using it once I tried the Wolfgang stuff.

Turtle Wax Ice system for us. Have tried and like the entire Ice line of products. I also just use WD-40 as a bug remover before washing.
