Default Living with manual windows and locks in unlimited?

Considering trading my 2010 JK Unlimited ( S package) for a 2013 Unlimited. The problem is money is somewhat a issue, Looking at a base jku ( manual locks and windows), How is it dealing day to day without power accesories. I would be changing my tires and lift from the 2010 so not worried about the smaller tires. But this is my daily driver, any real world advice would be great. Thanks. Jon

Its horrible, only thing worse in life is losing the remote and changing channels manually...unless you live in Chad, Sudan, or Syria, then it would probably be tolerable

No really its not that bad but I live in an area where I don't lock my doors and leave my keys in all the time.

Lol it's really not that big of a deal man. If its nice enough to have windows down, I just take the doors off

I won't have it any other way! Bought my JKU in June of 2010 with manual locks and windows and I love it.. But I'm weird like that! I like having a jeep that is somewhat like a jeep.. Plus when you take the doors off they are lighter!

I have put over 16000 miles on in the last year and the manual locks/windows have been a non issue. I was worried because I have had power windows/locks since the 70's so I figured it would be a pain but now after a year if I were getting a new one tomorrow I would go with manual locks again.

I have power windows and locks and I would never turn back. To me with kids I could never imagine not having power.

I went for the one without power for $ reasons and I don't mind it one bit. Normally the doors are left unlocked since I have a soft top and I can roll down all the windows from the drivers seat with a little leaning.
