Default Loud click

I noticed when i leave my garage in the morning and back out, i have a loud click that seems to be coming from the right rear wheel. It only happens when i have had the hand brake on and go in reverse. Any ideas what might be happening?

take the hand brake off when you back up its probably the pressure of your brake shoes on the inside of the drum, i know mine grunt and creak with my e brake on while moving

I believe mine has done what you describe -- mine will back up ok, but click loud (almost pop or snap) the instant I move forward. It's cleared itself up, and I chalked it up to a buggy e-brake..

It could be the brakes sticking, then releasing when your wheel turns.

One morning you could jack up one rear wheel and spin it by hand, then the other rear wheel and spin it by hand. That should tell you if the e-brake is sticking and on which side.
