A couple of quick tips, having done it a couple times already....
No need to pull the shift tower, it only adds minimal clearance. The center console does need to come out, it'll make getting to bolts easier. You can about drop the trans down and let it pivot on the motor mounts. It'll get to a really nice angle for you to get the two top bolts out.

This picture also made things a little easier, being able to see where I needed to get my hands for the bolts.

Perfect thanks for the picture, that's a whole lot different than my 97 TJ, I remember rebuilding that tranny on a Saturday morning and throwing a clutch in it and having it back in on Sunday. I was younger then too haha

While the garage is warming up and I am have a Dew to wake up, here is the parts I will be putting in and a comparison between the crappy plastic lined throw out bearing that comes with the Luck kit and the National bearing I picked up as well as a shot of the parts that comes with the kit. Also a shot of the shoulder bolts outlined in the paper I posted above.

She's out
Got the tranny out, the plates were pretty worn down the Springs were super loose and the throwout bearing was toast. More to come tomorrow I have to go Chef for my daughter's prom now 😉🍺🍺🍺. I can tell you I need a drink about now LOL.

2nd picture there, whose bearing is that? It looks nothing like the Mopar I took out or the National I put in. I'm looking at the SKF next as my National is noisy.....again.
