Then go drive the shit out of it, get on it etc. May need a second treatment if carbon deposits are bad. The stuff works great
thanks man. i have 16k miles and use exxon mostly so i doubt it'll be that bad. i have the 3.6l so i should just pull the tube off the intake and spray it right in? do i run both the sf and cccc? or should i do one now and one next tuneup? I'm really new to this stuff because i always leased my cars and never really invest much into maintenance other than oil changes and tires if needed. how do i clean the MAFS? I'm pulling my K&N filter out and replacing it with the oem after i clean everything up.

If they really said MAF sensor then run as fast as you can from that dealer. Jeeps do not have a Mass Air Flow sensor. They have MAP sensors (Manifold Air Pressure). Two totally different animals and if they don't care enough to show they know what is in your Jeep, why give them the business.

MAF is more susceptible to contamination than MAP.

Yes pull off intake tube and spray directly in the throttle body. Don't worry about cleaning mass air sensor because it doesn't have one. I would run the CCC now, its only $10 a can

The Seafoam works great and after the first treatment through the brake booster line( which gets the throttle body as well as the entire intake) most of the carbon is cleaned. 6 months later i did a second treatment and there wasn't nearly as much of a smoke show

Pour the Seafoam slowly into the line to the left of the master cylinder....Click image for larger version

Yeah using both does a real good job. I normally run CCC and dump a can of seafoam in the tank

The rubber hose/line on the brake booster. (the black round thing) It is a vacuum line that will suck it into the engine properly. There are videos all over youtube. Just search for Seafoam. Watch a couple of them, and pay special attention to how slowly you have to let it "sip" the Seafoam.

Default i can see why after this u tube i watched on sea foam on a jk

however why don't you see the dealers using it ? if it was good for all motors on this why isn't the jeep dealers parking lot filled with smoke ??? im sure it works but dosent look good to be breathing in lol and Chrysler recommends this for our maintenance at 16,000 ????
