Just to let you know i have a 2 door with 3.5 inch lift. Been lifted for almost 2 years and no problems yet. I havent done any hardcore rock crawling though, just playing in mud and sand, and uneven terrain... We will see what happens

I have a 2012 auto sitting on a Rock Krawler 3.5" X-Factor running 35"MTRs...I flexed the hell out of my front end, I inspect it frequently after wheeling due to the same concerns, and havent seen a mark on the CV boot...yet...Think it means I'm running pushing it hard enough

I think Eddie should have left the stock front DS on Rubicat as an "Experiment" and strapped a GoPro to the under carriage, focused on the pinion, to see how long it took for him to destroy the boot...I bet he could do it in less than 10 min
