Default Max tire size on stock 18" rims????

I recently purchased a 2010 Sahara unlimited and am looking to go larger on the tires. I really like the look of the stock rims but being that they are only 7.5" wide I'm afraid my choices may be limited. I have read a little bit about this online, but frankly am still a little confused. I'm guessing that 275/70/18 may be the number can anybody tell me how close I am???? I am also planning a 2.5-3 " lift in the near future.

Thanks for the input, with that size of tire have you had any clearance issues or rubbing, also are you running any kind of lift?

You sure you don't want to go with 275/70/18? The 60/65 series give a low profile look almost like a sports car. Just food for thought...
