BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 LT255 80 17 are a true 33" diameter; same width, but a heavier "E" Range tire designed for 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks.

That is the only 255 80 17 I have found, and it requires no spacers or trimming.

There are lots of guys in the "Show your 33's" thread that are running 33's without lifts.

Not sure about 18" wheels, I know for 33's most people at least require spacers with 33's if they go no lift and stock rims.

Just realized that you are on 18" rims, sorry. I do like 17" better, maybe even 16" rims.

You can usually go up to 33s with no lift if you use spacers or a wheel with 4.5 (more or less) of backspace.

If it's a mall crawler, you can run 35s on a stock JK. BFG 35" run a little small and only rub the plastic airdam under the front bumper. If you want to off road, then a 33" you can run stock. If you run stock rims though, you'll need a spacer to push them out as the offset is too much to get wide tires in there. The tires will rub like crazy if you don't run spacers.
