Mileage still increasing while flat tow, with battery disconnected?

It's taken me a few times to get the change oil display to reset.

Plus the change oil isn't based on mileage alone, it's an algorithm that takes idle time, miles driven, RPM, engine load.

2010+ jeeps do NOT have steering wheel locks.

NEVER tow where the steer wheels can lock, you'll damage the tires if not worse.

once the wheels turn & lock theyll end up dragging (while going straight)....which could over heat them and eventually cause them & the jeep to catch fire & burn
I purchased my jk in April of 09 and found out later that it didn't have steering lock. But thank you for covering my back. You can never be to careful when you consider the damage if you don't.

For those who want to check to see if their JK has a steering wheel lock, you have to turn the wheel more than a half turn to find out.

agreed ! From what ive read about the 09's, no one has been able to pinpoint WHEN the wheel lock was discontinued.

Rather than pulling fuses can't we put the transfer case into neutral to prevent mileage from going up? I thought the speedo and mileage were controlled by input and output sensors on the transmission/transfer case and not controlled by the wheel speed, but I could be wrong. I may have to flat tow the jeep soon so I will have to test it out somehow.
