Miles per Gallon :(
I get anywhere from 15 to 20 mpg....depending on how heavy my foot is.
Usually though when I clock it in and do the math .... .17 mpg is wat I get........ pretty reasonable for a vehicle that was built to go offroad, has oversize tires, winch, shaped like a box, etc, etc

I have a 6 speed rubi. I get about 23 to 25 mpg here. The trick I have found is to drive between 50 and 55 mph. In 6th gear i am clickin between 2100 and 2300. I know its slow but here in Mississippi you get the finger for driving to fast not to slow
Aerodynamics are overrated!!! What do you expect out of a rolling brick....
Screw my MPG, I really don't even care and don't check it that often (maybe once a month). If I cared I would have bought a Honda.
These gas company idiots can raise the price to $10.00 a gallon and we'd still have to buy it...We're so dependant, we're lock in. Like buying food at an amusement park....
So I say....Just enjoy your Jeep and ignore your MPG. Drive it like you stole it!!!

We have a Sahara 6 speed and 3:73s . In town it gets 18-19.
On the highway yesterday, I was pulling 21-22 at 70-75 with the roof down and 5 adults.
The SPM (smiles per mile) was right off the chart.
Did see a .5 mpg increase with the First oil change.
Will be adding the K&N in a couple days to see if how much that helps out.
When done, I will publish my findings. Got a couple more common sense tricks up my sleeve.
Talking to a guy with a Nissan Titan yesterday, he said he was getting 10-12 mpg, so I cannot complain. (just wish I had more torque like my old 4.0 for the milage).
You might find that the added costs of insuring, registering, maintaining, and purchasing an old Honda for the improved gas mileage will not save you any actual money and will probably cost you more per year.
I pay twice for just liability on a 27 year old litre rice rocket (40 mpg if you do not pull the trigger) as I do on our new JK. And the JK has full coverage.(In NH, bike rates are insane because there is no helmet law whether or not you wear one).
The insurance is worth 4,000 miles in the JK. But it is a bit more sporty off the line, and there is no more fun than blowing off a new corvette or 911 with a bike that has antique plates. ;>)
The other thing people do not think about is safety. The JK is a 5 star winner front and rear, and has some size to help protect you. I pulled up to one of those tiny Mercedes-Benz manufactured gocarts (forget that name of them) on Saturday and had to hold my tongue not to ask if they had put a priority of milage over personal safety, as it may be fine to hit a guardrail, but I rather not be in it when some drunk in a F-350 goes head on with it.
To each his or her own...

I get 180 miles out of a whole tank (thats with no 4 wheel driving) its worse when i go off-road!!
