I had moisture/water on both sides. It was mostly from rain I think, continuous rain if it was standing still. When I drive, no problem.

I took out the mats completely, put in the rubber liner and put a little silicone in between the rubber seal along the top of the windshield. It was a little peeled back from wind/ driving and a bad seal.

No more water inside yet. Thanks Roger.

I have a 10' w/soft top and find it's from the top of the door in the exact place where the fold is from when the top is folded in the sunrider position. I have in-channel rain/wind guards too and if I open the door after a car wash or in the rain, water will drip right on my left leg.

Mine are wet too but it's a soft top leak......the leak is coming from the top drivers side corner and leaking in behind the "A" pillar.

Default Yes, from the top header leak, running down the

windshield surround and ending up under the driver's mat. Only when parked in the rain, no observable leak while driving. All of which is why Jeep has a 144 page leak repair manual. Not news.

Have you checked your drain plug to see if it's installed correctly???

I believe its condensation.. Only seems to happen with thick rubber mats.

I checked the drain plug. Like Jeppsterzk said, I believe it's also condensation on my Jeep. It's hasn't rained and I haven't washed my Jeep in a while.

My carpets got wet every time it rained and I parked outside, which is about 200 days a year here in Seattle.

No more carpet, no more moisture under the mats. It's a leak somewhere but too small for me to find. Seems to dry quickly without the carpet.

I guess I'll chime in as say 'me too'. I think with the rubber mats, the moisture (either leak or condensation) has a tough time evaporating since the mat acts as a vapour barrier. With the stock mats, likely the evaporation happened much easier. I've removed my mats and carpet to see how much water I'm getting in there. It rained heavy today and I got 1/4" in the passenger side (say 1/4 of the footwell was covered) and just a bit in the driver side. I'll have to get out the hose on a sunny day and trace the exact source.
Other than that my Jeep only leaks from the back seem of the soft top - it only drips a bit under heavy rain. I wouldn't even notice it if it fell to the carpet but it lands on the trunk lid so it's visible.

Default I had this too

I had this too.... turned out it was the weather stripping on the passenger door. It leaks in at the bottom, under the plastic trim. It wont get the top mat wet because of the rubber lined bottom unless there is a lot of rain. Took it to the dealer, they replaced the door seal and have had no problems since.
