Default Mopar Add-a-Trunk Coming Back?

Not very exciting, but still of interest to anyone who has been looking at the Tuffy Security Deck. From Jeep's EJS press release:

Some prototype Mopar accessories debuting on this vehicle are a locking center console box, a rear cargo cubby cover, new windshield-mounted LED lamps, a new hard-top headliner and an “Add-A-Trunk” partition that creates secure storage space in the cargo area.
Sounds like it's not confirmed for production, but it would be nice to have another option on the market. I know Jeep had an add-a-trunk a few years ago, but remember it being kind of limited and incompatible with the factory sub. Hopefully this one will work on JKUs and be better thought out.

Yea more options are good. Tuffy's security deck is pricey.

I have been looking at the Tuffy Security Deck. I like the concept but it is very pricey. Does anyone have an opinion on them? Are they worth the price?

I have one and love it. Its very sturdy (loaded ~400 pounds of gravel on it w/o issue) and I have no qualms about leaving a laptop in there when I'm in a less than ideal part of town.

Thanks for the info. My main concern is the amount of space inside of the trunkt area. Is it tall enough to put a standard igloo type cooler or golf bags? How about a couple of standard size suit cases? Thanks again for the help:-)
