MOPAR Bug Shield
#11
The stickers are to help hold the bug shield in place while positioning it. I think they are then to be taken off and thrown away. I put a bug shield from mopar on my jeep. Very easy to install but BE CAREFUL DRILLING THE HOLES. I had a new drill bit and the metal is very thin. I popped thru the first layer very quickly and the bit went two far in before I could get it stopped and dented the outside of the hood from the inside. XX##$$@@%% It is difficult to see it with the shield in place, but I am still mad at the installer. The only problem I have now is it is difficult to see the bug shield while driving because the windshield is covered with bugs!!!! Looks nice.

Thanks for all the replies. Yes, I'd like to see a photo too.
I guess I should have asked if these things really are worth the money. I assumed it would help deflect bugs and small pebbles perhaps, without any reduction in mpg (probably not an issue, Wranglers are hardly aerodynamically "slippery").

Here's the install as best I could figure it out. The pads are supposed to be spacers and where they go even the dealership can't tell me. Instructions SUCK!

Had a "bug deflector" on my Dodge Ram and on my TJ. Useless. Looked good on the Ram, but the only thing it did on my TJ was screw up the spray from the windshield washer.
Not worth it IMHO.
