Being your new I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but have you removed the bolts under each hinge? Also sometimes lifting while opening the door will help..

It also helps if you swing them out to about 90 degrees, then lift.

Good Luck!

The other advice that I have seen on the forum is to take a block of wood and a mallet and gently tap the bottom of the door while lifting up. You should ask for some help if you go this route. You wouldn't want the door to fall off and get damaged or scratch your jeep.

You may try using your jack to help get them off.

Undo bolt as described above, disconnect strap and electric connector, be careful as without the strap the door can swing freely and perform a dimple mod on the front fender/shroud.

Place a 2x4 on jack under door and slowly lift until the "sticking" releases. Make sure you have a good grip on the door during this process, or you may be picking a scratched up door off the ground. Better yet - get help from a friend.

Apply white lithium grease to pins before you re-install. Much better than factory lube.

Don't worry they are hard the first couple of times, shoot some light weight oil on the door pens and work it in. If avaiable help is nice to have around as well.

Mine were a pain to get off the first time as well. Remove the bolts and disconnect the electrical. While lifting up on the door, sway it open and closed, back and forth. Eventually you will see the pins start to come up. Keep up this same motion while lifting up until there out. No disrespect to the other posts, but taking 2x4's, mallets and jacks to the door is asking for damage.

X2, I've had to do this ever since my bushings wore out.

I had to do this initially because Jeep, like Kawasaki, are loath to put grease in anything.

As long as i kept the pins slick with waterproof marine grease, the doors lifted right off.

agreed. Be careful with them. Every spring I have to lube up the hinges, and work the door open and close while pullling up on it and EVENTUALLY it will come off. Roll the windows down and place one arm through the window from the outside and grab the handle on the inside. Use the other hand to lift up on the bottom of the door. Its a pain in the
