Lol, sorry for laughing. This happen to me last year. I put my key in to unlock it, and when I pulled my key out the whole assembly came out with it. If you are mechanically inclined its not to hard. Theirs is a small retainer clip that holds the lock in place. I had to take everything out even the glass to get that retainer clip in. It took me about four house. This included beer and smoke breaks. Have fun if I can help in any way let me know. Good luck.

good luck with warranty.. i think "adjustments" are only until 12k and thats more of a "wear and tear" anyway. of course im only trying to think like a snake stealership service writer.. i do not agree with what i wrote..
