Default Need help, 2012 JKU stalling, smells like fireworks

2012 JKU stalls periodically (usually when coming to a stop), is giving me a cutting out sensation when it doesn't completely stall. Does it at all speeds. Seemed very hot under the hood (temp gauge read normal) when I opened it. Smells a little like after fireworks go off when sitting at idle. No codes but scanner shows these words: misfire, comp, catalyst, evap, O2 sensor, O2 heater, egr . I have not modified exhaust nor do I have chip. Did get gas yesterday. Thoughts? Any help appreciated.
Head was already replaced in 2013

You can ignore the egr- the pentastar a do not have one. How many miles? Plugs ever changed? How about idle air? I'm not sure this would give you the sulphur smell though.

Appreciate the follow up. 50k miles, plugs have never been changed. Seems to be running good today. I suspect bad gas/water in the fuel. I am basing this off the fact that I just gassed up and some others complained of similar issues from that gas station. I am continuing to monitor and will post up again any changes.

You may want to change out your fuel filter.

Good idea. Fuel filter location is in the tank for 2012+?

I have the same problem with my 2012 but with no codes. Stalls at random stops when i restart the tranny won't ship into drive it takes a bit to catch up. Also the automatic shift from 3rd to 4th is hard like you put it in the wrong gear if it was a manual. There was a recent update to the pcm but it didnt help me might help you and it should be free.
