I canceled my alignment I had scheduled for tomorrow because I ordered the Rock Krawler tie rod and drag link TRE's. As far as I can tell, the Tie Rod controls toe in and out so I'm guessing that something on the stock set up was coming loose. Hopefuly this will work. Otherwise, I will work back towards the steering wheel and upgrade everything with beefier components. Any recommendations for a steering stablizer or dual stabilizers?

You don't need a dual steering stabilizer unless you are going with a huge lift kit and 44" tires or bigger.

don't know if this has been said but get rid of your spacers and replace with a leveling kit.

Let us know if the new tie rods and drag bar fix the problem, after they are installed and you get a new alignment.

Yeah, you will only notice a difference when you have a really tall lift kit and really big tires. Then when you put a steering stabilizer dual or single in this scenario is when you will notice a difference or when you start changing pinion angles out of necessity cause of tall lift kit.

I have hydraulic ram assist steering on my 1985 K5 Blazer and I hate it! Mainly because it still has a carb engine in it and at angles or steep hills the engine stalls out and dies then it becomes impossible to steer even pulling the wheel as hard as possible with all body weight into it in addition to pulling. Ha, once while driving down a city street my fuel pump went out and it died and I nearly ran over into a Walgreens sign just barely getting it stopped in time.

Just to update everyone, installing the Rock Krawler HD Tie Rod addressed all my issues. No more steering wander and no more clunking either. This product is top quality.
