Default need help P0100

Hi guys, I need some assistance with a DTC p0100.

2k7 JK, 62ish- k miles. I was throwing a code for the right lower O2 sensor as well, but I replaced it and the code cleared. I did notice the intake hose was loose, and one of the clips on the airbox was not clipped ( thanks Texaco... ), but both of these were fixed, and I reset the codes using my reader. I also looked at the intake temp sensor, but it seemed ok. I've driven about 100 miles, no noticeable loss of power. Only the p0100 comes back, as soon as I start the engine.

Since there's no MAF on this thing, what else should I be looking at ?

P0100 doesn't appear in the factory service manual.
People have been reporting odd codes that don't apply to the JK.
No explanation why.

check the wires going to the sensor, they might be rubbing and shorting out.

Default which sensor

Yeah, since I don't have a MAF, I don't know which sensor's wiring to look at. Any help would be appreciated...

Default Thanks for the good intentions, but...

Not much - that's kind of the problem. even on the page you just posted, p0100 isn't listed, because it's not a jeep specific code. It's a generic ODBII MAF/MAP code.

Since there apparently isn't a MAF sensor, it makes it hard to know what wiring to check or sensors to look at. I was hoping someone else had run into a similar issue.

I've replaced the 02 sensors, tightened the stock CAI hose, replaced the air filter, cleaned the intake air temp sensor, cleared the codes, and done a 100+ mile drive.

could it be the intake air sensor ? Maybe my obd computer's just fried. I can't believe that I'm the only one that's seen this error - the odds are against it. If I cant solve it, i have to go to the stealer so I can pass emissions and get my tag, and I hate going to the stealer for something that I later find out I could have fixed myself.

As I mentioned previously, people have reported odd codes that don't apply to the JK, so you are not the only one.
As for passing emissions, how can they ding you for a code that doesn't apply to your JK? Like you said, it doesn't have a MAF.

it's all up to the sniff computer. MAF/MAP error tripped part of the emissions group, so it didn't pass.

I appreciate the help, but I guess its time for a trip to the stealer.
