Thumbs up New interior for 2011

Hey not sure if this has been done already, but curious to see what people think of the new interior. I really like it and seriously considering trading in my 08 for an 11.

Lots of other threads on this. The consensus is split. If you like the new interior enough to trade your 08 in for a new one wait a year an get the new interior plus the new engine.

I test drove a 2010 and placed an order for a 2011 not knowing about the interior change. When it arrived I was thrilled. The new interior is a major upgrade to me!

Don't think I like the shiny stuff, but putting controls on the steering wheel is cool.

I traded up from my 09 for other reasons, but did wait for the 2011 so I could get the new interior. Looks much better, and more functional controls.

May seem silly, but the number one reason I got a 2011 vs 2010 was the steering wheel controls.

My old 2001 TJ has them, why did they go to that stupid cruise control on a little stick for the pre 2011?! Every Chrysler product I rented when I traveled just annoyed me due to that design, I was thrilled by the 2011 have real controls again.

All of the other features, factory leather, touch screen radio, better looking plastics (IMHO), etc are all great as well..

I love the 2011 interior and have no regrets. (Of course I've only had the jeep for a week so far)

The new interior is very nice. I especially love the new dash. No need for an upper Daystar dash panel. I'm jealous of my father in law that just got an 11 sport 2 door.
