In an earlier thread I had asked about Fumoto valves and what people thought of them. I now have on order a complete set of TnT skids and was wondering which of the Fumoto seems to work best with skids, the difference being the nipple on the valve:


No nipple:

Yes I likes my nipples big too!

 

I went with the short nipple for my fumoto... Seems the cleanest if you want to use a length of hose while still being tucked away.

 

I don't know about you, but the length of my hose increases with bigger nipples.

 

I bought the one with the big nipple. Just installed. So far, pleased with the big nip.

I'll be doing my oil in the next few weeks. I installed the valve on the last oil change. I like it so far. Next, the change itself. From there, as long as it doesn't leak, I'm liking it!

 

Changed my oil last weekend using the valve. Works pretty good. I like it. Doesn't leak, easy to use. My only complaint, is it takes about 3x's longer to drain due to the small opening. But I never rush my oil changes anyway.
