Hit a deer in southwest Missouri (18 miles from home) and destroyed my passenger flare.
All the body shops around are booked for months (end of July to end of August) so I was wondering what to do. So I started taking pictures and lots of them for records and then worked on making it a little more roadable. First I "removed" the pass front structure with a good swift kick. That did the trick.
Then turned my attention to the rest.
The end result before I stopped was no liners or flares or rear bumper. Plan on xrc flat flares to replace stock and building a rear stubby bumper. Anyone running the xrc's? How do you like them? Any cheap tweaks to make the jeep look better in the meantime would be appreciated.
Also!: I know it needs some meats put on it but that's to come later

Thanks. I was glad as well. It was a big Kansas sized buck and I know this because I got part of his skull and antler in velvet off the road. He was quite large and could have done wayyyy more damage. The ole jeeps pretty tough apparently!

Well kinda. If you look at the hood gap you can kinda see it creased the fender middle of the wheel arch and pushed the front of the fender down and towards the grill. Easy to fix with a good set of dollies and body hammers

I would take the insurance $$$$ and buy some used jk flares on Craigslist or eBay .use the leftover $$ for additional upgrades.or leave it like it is bc it looks cool. I just can't do that bc we have crappy state inspections here in nc
