Default no horn, steering wheel buttons and traction control light on

Hello. Well I think I've fixed my supercharger pulley serpentine belt issue. But I've realized I have no horn, none of the steering wheel buttons work, and my traction control light is on and won't turn off.

Any ideas? Wheel sensor for traction? Clock spring for the wheel issues? Can a clock spring cause the traction issue?

Thanks!

Just a guess, but the obvious thing all those have in common are the clockspring. That clockspring is what is telling the jeep the steering wheel is straight via the steering angle sensor. That would be enough for the jeep to think you're in a constant slide. the horn and steering wheel buttons run through the clockspring as well. Now, it would seem just a random thing to happen while messing in the engine bay, but could just be random coincidence on timing.

Thank you! exactly what I was thinking. I had a clockspring go out on my old Hummer H3 when I did a Solid Axle swap. Wasn't too bad to fix. Thanks for your input.

For a long time the factory clockspring was back ordered. I'm not sure the status these days, but that factory unit is $$$. I used a Crown replacement and it's been perfectly fine for a couple of years now.

I was just going to reply, 'why can I not find this anywhere?'.....nothing on Amazon. Napa, $400 lol I'll have to find a source and hope for quick shipping around this time of year.

X2 on the crown replacement. I used the same unit and have been good for about five years now. Be sure to follow the install instructions exactly. Specifically, when it comes to pulling the yellow tab.

Thank you. I just got it in and will fix it as soon as I get time. I hope it's my issue. I need to rent a steering wheel puller now

I'm fked. So I got the wheel removal kit. And the center piece ruined the threads in my steering column...Just the first few and the wheel isn't even close to being loose. How do I fix this?

I have a tap and die set but don't know the bolt thread type

And now I broke the steering wheel square hole. Had it shimmed and all so it wouldn't move. This thing won't budge at all.
