With no power anything, what's the wire into the door for?
Our formerly shiny new '10 Sport was at the shop getting the front seats rebuilt
so the wife is more comfy after a knee and ankle fusion.... and I noted when checking out
the wiring for the seat heaters they installed, that there was indeed a plug-in wire going
into each door panel along with the strap.
I have no auto door locks. Roll up windows. No power mirrors. No alarm system.
We've gone " green " on this one.
So..... what's the wire for going into the doors? I haven't a clue .....

By the way, the seats re-contoured real nice after having the bolsters reworked, the front "nose" rewelded at a lower angle and thin but firmer padding put in. We needed enough "slope" so the leg could easily touch the floor as well as be a bit easier to enter and exit. It came out real nice, and we went ahead and added seat heaters to both sides
as long as it was apart. The wife likes to use heated seats sort of like a heating pad sometimes even in summer. If the the wife ain't happy , then bad stuff happens.... so I have learned to nip it, nip it in the bud ....

Hat's off to you for going the extra mile to keep your better half comfortable.
Sometimes its a fine line we have to walk between making our Jeeps capable of doing the things we want them to do and remembering that those things wouldn't be anyway near as much fun if we had to do them alone.
For example, 4" and 37's would be hella fun, but 2" and 33's with grab handles mean I get to share with someone special.
