Default No U-Connect in Wranglers!!!!

We all have the buttons, but not the feature!
No 'U-Connect' for your cellphone, even though it is on the stereos buttons and it appears on the website pictures and in the brochure pictures!
Don't sell a vehicle with buttons that don't work! It's misleading!
They may as well put the Rubicon sticker on all the JKs, even though they may not have the parts! What the heck?!
Even the owner of my dealership was Pissed to find out his buttons didn't mean crap!
Do I hear Class-Action Lawsuit?
My wife and I are contacting lawyers for info on this topic...

You're seriously gonna sue them because of a few buttons on a radio that dont work?

I think it only has merit if you can find documentation of Jeep selling the feature...and it seems like I saw it on their website at one time when I was using the price and build option, but good luck finding it on paper. If you can, then you might have a chance...no matter how petty is may be.

What about it stating it has a DVD player which it does- but no monitor to hook up or plugs- -Thats why I had to do it myself

I wanted the U-Connect to and when I get all the parts I'll do a write up on that too.

That's a little extreme. I think it's a legit complaint, but I agree a little extreme to take to that level.

A friend of mine has a Dodge Nirto with the same radio and he had to pay extra money to get features on the radio activated. I believe it was the Blue tooth. I don know if that is the same as U Connect.
I have to agree with Bigwrm. Too many American first line of action is to sue.
I guess DC could make separate stereo for every vehicle and CHARGE everyone for it and that way an unused button will never ventured into a vehicle. I know I looked over the brochures and literature for the information about my vehicle.

Wait, I just figured out how to solve that problem! Take a couple of pieces of black electrical tape, put it over the buttons, and *magic* no more u-connect buttons!! Law suit averted!

There are some states that are passing laws on the use of Cell phone while driving, even Blue Tooths. I am a Safety Supervisor and read a study on incidents that occured while useing cell phone and it was not good. Be glad that it is not opperational.

PS: Lets not get into a pissing match. We all have our right to our opinion. Papabear
