So i found a frame with the sunrider option for the soft top 2 dr.

I have an X with the basic top and frame.

Can i just buy the sunrider frame? Will my original top fold back with this new frame or do I have to get a new "sunrider" top also?

The Sunrider and non Sunrider tops have the same canvas, if that is your question. The only difference in the two is the door surrounds and the frame. The surrounds have a latch built into them for the Sunrider to hook into while it's folded back in the Sunrider position. The frame has a hinge point over the doors just forward of the surround latch to let the top fold open into the Sunrider position. Other than that, they are the same.
