Default Is this normal??

I rotate the tie rod back and forth and the clank sound is heard. Is this normal or am I just paranoid?
There is no excessive side play in bushing though.

Nope that's your tie rod hitting your drag link, or the tie rod just hitting the ball joint. Its a normal noise and too check your ball joints you wedge a pry bar in at the"c" and look for any up and down or side to side wiggle while moving the pry bar. The noise and rotation of the tie rod is all normal!

Glad I saw this, when I was changing the steering stabilizer I noticed the same thing, glad its normal. I remember when I was in moab I could heard a noise occasionally, I'm sure that's what it was.
