Default OD off button not working???

I have pressed the button and nothing happens. I have pressed it while driving 45 mph at a very low rpm and nothing happened either. Is there a light on the dash that indicates OD is off? Just curious if something is wrong with it. How can I be sure it is working?

My Jeep is still stock (have not put the lift or tires on it yet), so if there is something wrong I'd like to take it in before the lift goes on.

Default OD light

Yeah, there should be an "OD off" light in the middle of your display just like every other car and its pretty easy to tell its off when it is. I'd take it in, best of luck.

If you are running over 45 at low rpms, when you hit the button, the rpms should jump up!

Yep, definitely not working, thanks fellas....I am gonna go tomorrow morning to get it fixed before I install my lift so they can't blame that on the lift.

Back from the dealership. The electrical circuit in the OD button itself was bad. Jeep does not make that part individualy, so they had to change out the whole shifter console. They also reset the ECM for tranny shifts and reprogrammed the ECM for the ABS system update, labeled G40.

Everything is all good now for my lift to go on in a couple weeks....Thanks for the help!
