That is correct, the dealers say 3000, they print out sheets that say 3000, but the factory manual says 6000.

Just changed my oil for the first time, cost me 35 bucks. I use K & N oil filters and Castrol Synthetic blend 5 20. I always like there syntec I think it even has a nice distinct smell for the first 500 miles.

How about Mobil1 extended life...
15,000 miles or once a year...

If you ever had a problem with the engine with your Jeep and try to “use” the Lifetime Warrantee, I bet Chrysler won’t appreciate that rate.

I think the manual lists two maintenance schedules depending on driving style. One says 3K and the other says 5K or 6K.
