like i said previously, the radiator and A/C condenser were both completely clean from my previous disassembles and hose downs. turns out that the expansion valve is shot, and is not regulating the flow of coolant. basically, it really isn't sending any. the fan was kicking on normally and all.
i blame my last run to the pine barrens, since we hit a good amount of mud and water in there, and it was after that trip that i started the problem.

dealer is replacing under warranty, but, the part was backordered. been waiting for two weeks, and no call yet. will check in on monday to see if it arrived yet.
Expansion valve? Isn't that part of the air conditioning system?
Can you elaborate on the "expansion valve" that regulates the flow of coolant?
Was the dealer referring to the thermostat?

Had to be the thermostat. Any kind of wheeling WILL NOT cause thermostat failure. A total coincidence .....

I know it doesnt make sense that its the expansion valve, but I dont think Mr T got that confused with the thermostat, its what the dealer "claims" is causing the overheating. Part is on backorder, means go away maybe lol. I'm sure if the dealer just meant thermostat it wouldnt be on backorder.
