Just saw this and yes, I'll snap one in the morning.

Here you can see the vacuum line that actually contacts the battery. You can see where I cut the the line and replaced it with rubber hose. The line feeds the vacuum canister.

Thanks for posting the pics - I've had this code pop up twice on me in the past few weeks. Each time I've just checked the gas cap and reset the codes. Comes on again I'll be checking this out.

Default Gas cap gasket

After looking at the gas cap I noticed a slight crack in the gasket. When I removed the gasket the other side was in perfect condition with no cracks so I simply removed the gasket flipped it over and put it back on. I reset the code and we'll see if that does it. Prior to checking the gas cap I inspected the lines that ran by the battery and they looked good.

I had a hole in my evap canister so I replaced the canister and reconnected the battery cable and the CEL went off. About 100 miles later the light came back on. I need to check the hose by the battery but still don't know which one it is. I looked at the picture posted above but don't know which one to check. Help would be greatly appreciated. I cannot stand the CEL!

its the line that comes off the bottom of the purge solenoid, there should be a black vacuum line that runs from under it along the engine side of the battery. would add a pic but i'm at work atm

I have been getting this since February after being stuck Window deep in a mud hole. The dealer gave me a new filler neck, new seals on evap sys, new gas tank and cap.... Still keep getting code, and whenever I get gas the engine cranks for a while before starting.... but about a month ago I cleared the code and it's never come back and the starting problem is gone as well. We had a heat wave here when the problem stopped. Thinking my charcoal canister has been wet and the hit temps dried it out..... Whatever happened I don't care. But I'll definitely be checking that vacuume line near the battery
