Default Paint on JKU Hardtop fading. DIY repaint/touch up?

On my GF’s JKU, there are two spots on the rear of the hardtop, near the upper corners of the glass/hinges that are fading pretty badly. Has anyone painted just a section of the hardtop themselves with decent results? Also, what, if any, paint comes closest to matching the factory finish? I was thinking that I could just repaint the very back of the top, using the small seam that is in the top and a good break point.

Any suggestions are appreciated. I will add a photo later, the best way to explain it is that it looks oxidized.
