Default painting wheels

How do you prep a set of OE wheel for painting? What is the best paint to use?

nice job I like the look of taping off the rim edge so the wheel is not complete black. I've been wanting to do this too.

I sanded mine a bit... and used rustolemum satin black...
mostly to rough the clear coat up enough to help the paint stick when washed with a pressure washer.

I also put on 4 very light coats- letting each one dry!

Just washed good and used Duplicolor Wheel paint in graphite color. I was getting new tires so I didn't worry about taping, just painted on.
