Panic alarm making me panic
So, pulled in to gas station on my way in to work this afternoon. Locked the jeep with my key fob just like every other time I get out, come back, hit the unlock button and open the door. HOLY SHIT! you would've thought I was performing an exorcism on it. The jeep was doing everything by making noise and flashing every light other than puking pea soup. Embarrassed, I put the key in and turned it over and started it like I've done before to silence it but it continued! Turned it off and tried the panic button to no avail other than finding out that it has 2 speeds of 'panic'. It came down to pulling the horn fuses to at least silence it but the running lights still flashed. It stopped flashing after a bit so I tried locking and unlocking a couple times and it would start to alarm again. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes, reattached the terminal, and back to the light show! I'm at a loss, the dealership had just worked on the jeep for the past week for a bad "powertrain intermediate unit", had it for a few days without any issues until today. Could this possibly be a problem caused with the changing of a computer component or is it just a small slip up? It's currently sitting in the work garage with the positive terminal disconnected till im done with work at midnight. I'll take any advice and I will report what the finding is when I get back tonight. BTW, my fingers are tired....thanks in advance guys

UPDATE:
Took it to the dealer, they replaced a component that they admitted to not attaching properly and is now supposed to be corrected. This time they hooked me up with a rental, so I can't bitch too much.

They had replaced a powertrain intermediate unit and hooked something up incorrectly which caused the other computer components to go haywire and cause this headache. But I got it back and all seems well except I had to correct a fuse placement for my horn to start working again. They plugged it into the "heated mirror" slot. Nice....
