was that 4hi or 4lo?
A bunch of mud and I was in 4LO....just in case I got stuck I could start my engine without pressing in the clutch.

Disagree...you don't have to cut and lose caps. You can follow the line and get those caps back! The tube on the driver side is a butch but can be retrieved and on the passenger side, just break through two cheap plastic clamps and you're good to go. Took me longer for the tranny and tcase because I'm stubborn and was NOT buying new breather caps

I worry about hydrolocking in my not yet acquired jeep. My isuzu has been through some pretty deep water and I rarely offroad. I'm so worried about hydrolocking that I am in fact purchasing a snorkel right after new tires when I get my ride. It's such cheap insurance.
