Default Please help me with this question....Thx!

I'll apologize up front, because I know this question has been asked (and answered!) many times already. I have a 2013 JK Sport w 18" Sahara rims. I'm looking to find the largest tire I can put on WITHOUT a lift, spacers or changing the geometry of OEM ride (exception being tires larger than stock). Depending on the source, I have heard anywhere from 275/70 18 through 305/65 18. Even though I have a "Sport" JK, all of the add ons (this car was ordered by another buyer and they changed their mind) pretty much make it a Sahara. There appears to be a lot of clearance, but if not, what is the largest tire I can put on? This is my DD, so most of my time is on blacktop with the occasional need to get to a deer blind or a remote dive site.

Thanks in advance for y'all's input.

G.

With no lift or the use of spacers you are stuck with what comes on the stock jeep unless you want some minor rubbing.

265's should work fine unless you missed the FAQ at the top that has all of the details listed out. I run 265's without any rubbing and they are an OEM size for the jeep.

Are you willing to buy wheels with less backspacing?
And will you be disconnecting or is that not an issue?

Thank you for the replies! I'm getting a variety of answers from tire dealers so I knew I could get a real answer here. It's much appreciated!

Thx, 4W-Jive. My plan is to keep everything stock. I have been assured by 3 different tire stores (NTB, Discount Tire and a local shop) that 275/65 R18 will run as is, with no rubbing issues. Thoughts? Comments? Am thinking the Toyo AT II would be a good choice.

I ran 275x70x18 Cooper STT for a year with just adjusting the steer stops. You don't have to, but wheel spacers make the ride look and corner better.

Thx BRB! I'll go ahead and buy wheel spacers and have the steering adjusted when the tires are mounted.

I ran 275/65R18 Duratracs with no other changes. Minor rubbing on swaybars at full lock. Big improvement.

Hmm. So when you say "full lock", are you meaning when the steering wheel is all the way turned?
