Four door with 4.10 and auto. I was getting 17-18 around town and 15 if I was racing around town. After putting on the Magnaflow exhaust and the Airaid CAI I can get 20 around town and 22+ on the highway. I have not verified this I'm going by the dash computer.

 

My JK Unlimited Rubicon is only a week old, and the mileage is only about 150. I have driven it mainly to work on city streets in the Detroit suburbs where there is a stop light every mile and sometimes every half mile. I do my bet to time the lights. My mileage by the computer started about 14 and has slowly crept up to 15 driving the same route every day. Already it is doing slightly better than the GMC Envoy that it replaced. My old TJ would get maybe 20 on the highway stock and about 17 after regearing, lift, and 33" tires. It looks like the JK might be better than the TJ after mods and may approach the stock TJ. It ain't a Corolla, but I am pleasantly surprised so far. I am hoping that the mileage will improve as the engine is broken in.

Full catback magnaflow exhaust or just the muffler?

 

my JK magically jumped from averaging around 16.5 to 18.5 just before i hit 2k on the odo. i'm still running stock.

68mph 6th = 22 mpg

40 to 60 6th = 25.7 mpg

Short shifting and easy does it.

 

That would be the complete cat back system.

bone stock 225's 16" 3.21rear 763 total miles since new avg. 18.1 all city miles. I wonder if the air filter systems and the after market exhaust mods justify their price for the 1-2mpg their going to gain me. It may take me 3years before i start seeing any savings. going to maine sunday will post my highway mpg on the return.
