Default Program new TPMS Sensors 2013 JK

I ordered new tires and wheels online and had them put new TPMS sensors in since they came mounted and balanced. I told them I had a 2013 Jeep Wrangler.
Ever since I put them on (a few days and a few hundred miles) the tire PSI displays dashes and the idiot light flashes. The EVIC tells me there's something wrong with the TPMS system.
How do I get my vehicle to recognize the new sensors?

I just installed new wheels and tires on my 2013 JK and the computer picked up the new sensors within a few miles. That leads me to think it is an issue related to your sensors.

Are you sure they put the sensors in?

They definitely put sensors in, the valve stems are metal.

Just because the stems are metal doesn't mean they are tpms. I ran metal on my woods buggy... Def no tpms

So....then is there another way to tell if I actually have the sensors besides taking off the tire?

Metal stems! They should be black rubber. (with a brass shoulder below the brass thread under the cap)

The grey (metal stems) were for the pre-2010 models and were replace by black rubber stemmed sensors (of a different frequency for 10-12s. The '13s have entirely new sensors that are not compatible with the 07-12s.

My guess is that if you have sensors, they are not '13 compatible.

The only requirement to recognize new sensors is to drive at speed over 15 mph for up to 20 minutes.

Photos are 07-09 gray and '10-12 black (I assume the '13s look like the '10-12s)

I thought that, too, as I said in my post above but apparently there is an available "dress up" kit.

TPMS bling.....

(also note the brass shoulder under the threads to indicate TPMS)

Yeah ok 2013 sensors are black...I get that. Does that include aftermarket sensors for 2013 Jeeps too?
