Default Purple fluid leak

Had an interesting issue on the way home. Made a stop and noticed that I was leaking a purple fluid from the front, driverside, bumper area of my 2012 jku. It seems to leak/run out when the jeep is running. Got home called the dealer, they said sounds like coolant and to bring it in on Monday. They are 20 miles away. I asked if it would be okay to drive it there and they just said they didn't know until they looked at it. It will be under warranty what ever it is but I would prefer not to do anymore harm. Any ideas what it is?

The coolant should be red but could appear to be purple I guess.

Check your radiator and overflow bottle level. A short drive should be OK as long as the fluid is not pouring out.

okay could be considered red. Seems to be coming from the over flow. I will know more in the morning when I get some better light and get underneath it to look. thanks

just watch your temp gauge. if it starts running hot, pull over right away.

Just top off your overflow, and take it to the dealer.

My leak from that area was a leaky transmission cooler line? It was a warranty replace on my 08'. Weeping transfer cooler line warranty issue? Reddish purple trans fluid.

x2. I had my cooler lines replaced just before my warranty expired.
